Home tutors in Jashore: ask about the board before anything else
Jashore has its own education board, and that is not a piece of trivia — it is the most useful thing a parent here can know when hiring a tutor.
Question patterns differ between boards. A tutor who prepared students for the Jashore board last year knows what its papers ask and how they are marked. A tutor who sat a different board and has only ever taught from the textbook is teaching the subject rather than the exam, and at SSC and HSC level that difference is worth several marks in every paper.
So ask it directly, first: which board, and have you prepared students for the Jashore board specifically?
Where you are in the district
Jashore Sadar is the centre. The district then covers Abhaynagar, Bagherpara, Chougachha, Jhikargacha, Keshabpur, Manirampur and Sharsha, which runs to the border at Benapole.
Supply is concentrated in Sadar, around the science and technology university, the medical college and the town's colleges. The outer upazilas have their own capable people — students home for the term, young teachers, recent graduates — and almost none of them are findable through a search. They are findable by posting the tuition where local people see it, which is a different mechanism and the one that actually works outside a city.
The cadet and boarding tradition
Jashore has a long association with cadet college and boarding-school entry, and preparation for those is a specialised job.
If that is what you want, do not hire a good general tutor and hope. Ask: have you prepared a child for this entrance before, and what happened? The answer should contain a name and an outcome. A tutor without that answer may still be exactly right for the school syllabus — but the entrance exam is a separate purchase and it is better to buy it deliberately.

Below Dhaka and Chattogram, roughly in line with Khulna. The class, the subject and the days per week set the figure; travel adjusts it in the outer upazilas.
Set one number and one payment date at the start, and hold both. Drift — an exam-month supplement here, a travel allowance there — is the most common reason a working arrangement turns sour by April.

Where online is the right answer
For the daily subjects, a local tutor wins on every measure that matters. They are in the room, they see the homework, they notice when the child is bluffing.
For one hard paper — HSC Physics, Chemistry, Higher Math — the pool that matters is not the pool within cycling distance. If your child is losing marks in exactly one subject, put that subject online with a specialist and keep the local tutor for the rest.
