Where to look, by area
Tutor supply is thickest in and around Panchlaish, Khulshi, Nasirabad, Chawkbazar and Mehedibag — close to the medical college and the university routes. Agrabad, Halishahar, GEC and Muradpur are well served too. Further out towards Patenga, Bakalia or Oxygen, choice thins and travel time grows, which is exactly where online classes earn their place.

When online is the better answer
Chattogram is spread out and its traffic is not gentle. If the tutor you want is 45 minutes away, think carefully: an online 1-to-1 tutor removes travel from the equation, never cancels because of rain, and opens up tutors from Dhaka campuses as well as local ones. For English, Mathematics and most theory subjects, online teaching loses very little.
Live batch classes are worth considering if cost matters — the same tutor, the same content, shared across a small group.

- Biology and Chemistry — Chittagong Medical College students
