HSC Physics and Higher Maths Tutors in Rajshahi: The Case for RUET Students
Rajshahi is better served than most cities outside Dhaka for HSC Physics and Higher Mathematics, and the reason is geography: RUET is inside the city, at Kazla, next door to Rajshahi University.
Why the location changes everything
At CUET and KUET the campus sits outside the city, so a tutor's ability to reach you is the first question. In Rajshahi it barely arises. A RUET student in Kazla can reach Motihar, Talaimari, Binodpur or Shaheb Bazar without the evening becoming a journey.
That single fact means more choice, more reliable attendance, and less turnover — which matters more to your child's results than any difference in the tutor's own marks.
It also means you can be selective. In a thin market you take whoever can come. In Rajshahi you can interview two or three and compare them properly.
Why RUET students for these two subjects
RUET admission is decided on Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics under exam pressure. A student who cleared it sat the same papers your child is sitting, in the current syllabus, within the last two or three years.
For Higher Mathematics in particular this is difficult to replicate. It is the subject where general tutors most often run out of depth halfway through the year, and where a specialist shows their value immediately.

- Kazla, Motihar, Binodpur, Talaimari — nearest the campus, strongest supply
- Shaheb Bazar, Uposhohor, Court area — main residential demand, well covered
- Laxmipur, Rajpara, Boalia — good supply
- Katakhali and the outskirts — thinner, though still better than most cities of this size

Per subject, three days a week:
- HSC Physics — Tk 4,000 to 8,000
- HSC Higher Mathematics — Tk 4,500 to 9,000
- Both together — around 1.6 times one subject
- Engineering admission preparation — Tk 7,000 upwards, frequently taught in small groups
Because supply is healthy, you have room to negotiate on days and hours rather than only on price — and days and hours are usually what actually decides whether the tuition works.

With more candidates available, do the things families in thinner markets cannot:
- Ask each candidate which chapters students usually struggle with. The specific answer beats the vague one every time.
