HSC Physics and Higher Maths Tutors in Khulna: The Case for KUET Students
For HSC Physics and Higher Mathematics in Khulna, a KUET student is usually the best tutor available — and for engineering admission preparation, there is no real alternative in the city.
What the admission test tells you
KUET admission turns on Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, sat once, under time pressure, against far more candidates than seats. Getting in means having done exactly what your child is trying to do, on the current syllabus, recently.
That is a narrower and more useful qualification than "experienced tutor". Experience teaching Class 6 Maths for eight years does not prepare anyone to teach HSC Higher Mathematics. Clearing an exam built on it does.
The campus is not in the city centre
KUET sits at Fulbarigate, north of Khulna towards Daulatpur — not in the middle of town. It matters more than it sounds.
A student living on campus can reach Daulatpur, Khalishpur and Boyra comfortably. Reaching Sonadanga or Nirala on a weekday evening is a different proposition, and a tutor who agrees to it without thinking will quietly start cancelling.
Ask directly: *which areas will you actually travel to, on which days, at what time?* Then believe the specific answer and distrust the vague one.

Most HSC demand comes from students at Government B.L. College, Khulna Public College, Government Sundarban Adarsha College and the city's cadet and cantonment colleges — and local tutors know those teachers and question patterns well.

- HSC Higher Mathematics — Tk 4,500 to 9,000
- Both together — roughly 1.6 times a single subject
- KUET or general engineering admission preparation — Tk 7,000 upwards
Lower than Dhaka for equivalent tutors. Do not read that as lower quality — a KUET student teaching Physics in Khulna is the same calibre as a BUET student teaching it in Dhaka, at a smaller market's rate.
When to look elsewhere
For Biology and Chemistry at HSC, and for medical admission, a medical college student is the better match. For Class 6 to 10 general subjects, a general university student is better value and often more patient with a younger child.
